How This Time Zone Converter Works
Enter a local wall-clock date and time, choose the place where that time occurs, and the tool resolves it to one UTC instant. It then displays that same instant in every selected destination zone. This avoids manually adding fixed hour differences, which can be wrong when daylight-saving rules differ by date.
Conversion runs locally with your browser's built-in internationalization engine and supported IANA time-zone identifiers. It does not call a weather, clock, location, or calendar API.
IANA Zones Are Better Than Abbreviations
Names such as Asia/Kolkata, America/New_York, and Europe/London identify regions whose offsets can change over time. Short labels such as IST, CST, or BST may refer to more than one place, so they are useful for display but unreliable as conversion inputs.

Every result card represents the same moment, even when the local date is previous or next day.
Date-Specific Offset
The UTC offset is calculated for the selected date—not assumed from the zone's offset today.
Daylight-Saving Gaps and Repeated Times
A spring-forward change can skip local times, so an entered time may never occur. A fall-back change can repeat a local time with two different UTC offsets. The converter identifies both cases: skipped times produce a clear warning, while repeated times provide earlier and later choices.
Plan Meetings Across Working Hours
Set a duration and shared working-hour window. The planner checks 30-minute candidates across the source-zone day and ranks them by how many selected zones can attend while the full meeting remains inside those hours. A result marked “all available” is a convenient overlap—not a guarantee that individual attendees are free.
Check each card's weekday and relative-day label carefully. International date-line differences can place attendees on the previous or following calendar day even when their clock time looks suitable.
Copy or Download the Meeting Time
Copy a plain-text summary for email or chat, or download an ICS calendar event. The calendar file stores start and end in UTC so compatible calendar apps can show the event in each recipient's configured local zone.
Accuracy and Privacy
Governments can revise civil-time rules with limited notice. Your browser or operating system supplies the time-zone database, so keep it updated for recently changed rules and confirm time-sensitive international arrangements with participants. All calculations remain on your device; settings are stored only when you choose Save Locally.
